  • The department "Data Management and Monitoring" is a joint team of Erste Bank and Erste Group within Group Credit Risk Methods (CRM) risk division, responsible for the management of IRB and IFRS9 credit risk data necessary for the rating and risk parameter models.
  • Your Tasks
      • Fulfill the role of Product Owner for the STRATOS IT solution
      • Formulate User Stories and drive the implementation, testing, maintenance and continuous improvement of credit risk modelling, model validation and monitoring data and IRB Parameter implementation for Austrian entities
      • Create and clearly communicate product backlog items and ensure their transparency
      • Manage and optimize product backlog
      • Align with other Product Owners and Project Managers and suggest priorities with regards to interdependencies
      • Facilitate budget efficient implementations
      • Take part in regulatory assessments of Credit Risk Parameters
      • Ensure and maintain the business as usual data management and data quality processes within Credit Risk Methods area
  • Your Background
      • University degree (preferably in Business Administration, Economics, Finance and/or Computer Science) or relevant professional experience
      • At least 3 years experience in credit risk management (bank/ financial institution/consulting)
      • Experience in working in Scrum Teams and Agile Project Management style
      • Preferably, additional certifications or trainings in Scrum Product Ownership
      • High social competencies, team-orientation with strong ability to cooperate
      • Basic working knowledge in SQL or HQL databases, JIRA/Confluence
      • SAS or Python knowledge are an advantage
      • Business fluency in German and English
